Connect5 Tool Bag RFQ Checklist
Use this checklist before requesting a custom tool bag, electrician tool backpack, HVAC tool bag, hard-bottom tool tote, or technician organizer sample.

1. Buyer and program context
- Buyer type: tool brand / workwear brand / industrial distributor / MRO supplier / contractor supply / other
- Target trade: electrician / HVAC / mechanic / telecom / field service / contractor / mixed use
- Target quantity: sample quantity, first bulk quantity, and expected repeat order
- Destination market and required packing language
- Target sample deadline and bulk delivery window

2. Bag format
- Backpack / open-top tote / hard-bottom bag / rolling bag / pouch / organizer
- Approximate finished size
- Loaded weight target: under 5 kg / 5-10 kg / 10-15 kg / 15 kg+
- Carry method: handle / shoulder strap / backpack strap / rolling structure
- Standing requirement: must stand upright / acceptable to collapse / not sure

3. Tool list and pocket layout
- Main tools to carry: screwdriver, meter, drill, bits, tape, pliers, wrench, laptop/tablet, documents, other
- Upload or paste the tool list with dimensions if available
- Required pocket count or pocket zones
- Pocket depth requirements
- Open-access zones vs zippered zones
- External loops, hooks, tape holders, and quick-access points

4. Material and reinforcement
- Shell fabric preference: 1680D polyester / 900D polyester / ballistic nylon / buyer-defined
- Lining preference
- Bottom structure: soft / PE board / PP board / rubber molded bottom / not sure
- Reinforcement points: handles, straps, bottom corners, zipper ends, pocket mouths
- Stitching expectations: bar tack, double stitching, stress-point reinforcement
- Hardware and zipper preference: SBS / YKK / buyer-defined / no preference

5. Branding and private-label pack-out
- Logo method: rubber patch / woven label / embroidery / print / metal plate / no logo
- Logo size and placement
- Colorway or trim direction
- Hangtag, barcode, insert card, polybag, and carton mark requirements
- Retail-ready packing or distributor carton packing

6. QC and proof requests
- Material photo before sample
- Pocket layout photo
- Loaded sample photo or short video
- Stitching and reinforcement close-up
- Zipper movement check
- Final carton label and packing photo

7. Send with the RFQ
- Reference photo, sketch, or existing sample photo
- Tool list and expected loaded weight
- Preferred material and bottom structure
- Logo artwork or brand guide
- Quantity, destination, and target timeline
- Any compliance, label, or packaging requirements
